hi everyone can someone tell me why the European ford is the same as the American ford? I live in the uk and when I try to find one of the models we have here like a fiesta, focus, mondeo ka, transit I have to go through pages and pages of unknown models that I have never seen. why are these cars listed in the ford European if they don't exist here is there any way that I can rearrange this list and leave in it only the modes we have here?

The same goes for usa ford, we have all the european as well, but since the tool auto
detects the vehicle I never had to do it manually. But your right I don't see any reason
    why it should be there.

Aye I'm in the uk also but like ede65 it usually just autodetects. Have you updated it? as my ford autodetect has only worked in last two months

Hi. I agree the logos for Ford look the same but they are different. If you look at them the euro one says it's Ford EU on the Logo.Thought Readind may have changed over there..lol

I have just got the maxisys and have not used it a lot but the few cars I tried  to connect using the vin auto detect did't work and I had to provide the vin manually and the type of model engine code ecu type and so on how reliable is this feature when you use it?

For usa ford this feature is very reliable wether you click on auto detect or on the ford
icom it self, it detects the vehicle every time. I don't know about europe ford.

The autodetect isn't great for VAG or PSA or much Jap stuff but seems good on allot of other stuff. Every morning I click the little update thingy and everytime it updates seems a little better.
PSA can be a bit of a pain if you get a fairly new one, like a diesel Berlingo or something because there are so many ecu choices and the bastard is buried in the engine so you can't read it, meaning I end up going through every variant!
